Saut\u00e9 over low heat in a pan in olive oil, chopped onion and garlic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cover the pan and let it cook for about 15 minutes, stirring from time to time. When the onions are almost cooked, add the sliced sausage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Place the mixture on an oven tray and spread the cornbread on top. Beat the eggs, season, add two tablespoons of cream (optional) and cover the codfish.
