See the full recipe for Codfish King Cake below and enjoy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thaw the codfish steaks, cook them in boiling water for 10 minutes, drain well and, lastly, remove the skin and bones and flake them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dissolve the yeast thoroughly in the 300 ml of warm water, add to the flour, mix and knead well (for 8 to 10 minutes) on a floured surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, the sugar, salt and ground black pepper to taste, and knead again until you have a smooth dough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Make a ball and place it in a bowl sprinkled with flour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cover with a cloth and leave to rise for 40 to 45 minutes (until doubled in size). Then set it aside somewhere that is neither cold nor drafty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile remove the skin from the chorizo and cut it into small cubes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finely chop the onion and garlic, and coarsely chop the pitted olives and parsley to taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Put everything together in a bowl with the <a href=\"https:\/\/riber.webview.pt\/o-bacalhau\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">codfish flakes<\/a> and 2 tablespoons of olive oil and stir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fetch the dough and roll it out on a floured surface with a rolling pin until you get a rectangle measuring approximately 50 cm by 20 cm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spread the codfish mixture over the dough and roll it up.
